Budgies, Finches, Eclectus & Macaws
Birds are most welcome at Homebush Boarding Kennels & Cattery and are one of Kris's favourite pets. They receive personalised one on one care, just as your cat or dog and are housed in an indoor environment around family. We give them whatever special care you request. If they love to come out of their cage, then just let us know what they like and we will make sure that they get that attention. It is preferable that they come to us in their usual cage where possible, as it is less stressful for them being in their familiar environment. For long term stays, if your parrot or large bird companion requires something bigger than the transport cage that you bring them in, please speak with Kristine upon booking and prior to your date of arrival so we can organise a large cage for a long and comfortable stay.
We understand the needs of birds and special diets are catered to—you can either supply special foods or let us know what they need and we will be happy to provide them with their favourite cuisine. Just let the attendant know upon arrival regarding any special instructions for handling or feeding. We offer both long and short term stays.
Guinea Pigs, Mice & Rats
Here at Homebush Boarding Kennels & Cattery, we love your small pets just as much as your larger fur-family. Guinea pigs are most welcome to spend some time with us. During their stay, a balanced diet consisting of guinea pig mix, grass, fresh fruit and vegetables are provided every day. We care for them and keep a close eye on their wellbeing for a comfortable experience. We offer both long term and short term stays.
Mice & Rats
We ensure that your pet mouse or rat will enjoy their stay with us. Housed in the usual home and fed a regular diet, they will be given the same amount of personalised attention as all our other boarders. Just talk to us about their usual feed regime to let us know what treats they expect so that we can care for them just like home! We provide both long term and short term stays.
Grooming, Food & Exercise
Homebush Boarding Kennels & Cattery offers a complete clipping and grooming service. Whether it is a hydrobath, a new hairstyle or colour, we will groom your pet during their stay or by appointment for local clients. Please talk to us about your requirements and make your booking.
Optimum Nutritional Food
We feed your dogs, cats, birds and small animals only premium quality food while they enjoy their stay at our kennel or cattery. If your pet has any special needs, we will be sure to feed them according to their requirements. We stock most prescription foods for pets with medical conditions requiring specialised diets.
Daily Exercise
Dogs enjoy a walk in the morning and the afternoon through the cane fields and countryside. This is a service that is unique to Homebush Boarding Kennels & Cattery. For dogs with medical conditions or special needs, alternate exercise is offered by either a short walk to allow them to stretch their legs and sniff the grass or the use of our large exercise enclosures for some out and about time at their own pace. Whatever it may be, you can rest assured that your pet is well cared for and not just left in their pen for the duration of their stay.
Family Dogs Housed Together
Companion dogs enjoy their stay immensely when they have their best doggy friend by their side. Homebush Boarding Kennels & Cattery can accommodate groups of family pets together, allowing your pet to enjoy their stay without the stress and anxiety of being separated from their pack.
